I call her 'agogo igbala' because she was the saving grace in my marriage ------------------------ Aunty Sola, Mama Bee was a dynamic ,very vocal, elegant, fashionable and sociable lady. She called me Sisi Lara and I call her aunty Sola because of the customary belief that wives dare not call her husband's siblings and relatives by name in Ondo and Yoruba land in general however senior or junior I also call her 'Mama Bee' as she is always busy doing this and that, no dull moment with her She would attend all invitations even if it's just 10 minutes of RELEVANT participation. If asked why she responded to every invitation she would say FRIENDSHIP IS COMMITMENT and IWO MBE LA NPE She lays her hands on many entrepreneurs like sewing, decoration, M C at traditional marriages Alaga iduro/ alaga ijoko, animal husbandry in small rearing, piggery and goats. Tribute to My President, My Mother Star Mrs. Solayide Juliana Olawole For six years (November 2012 to November 2018) I served as a National General Secretary to a National President Solayide Juliana Olawole of Christ Morning Star of Nigeria (CMSN). But to reduce her to a title would be to miss the woman entirely. She was Madam President to CMSN leading us with wisdom, fire, and unwavering faith. She was Mama to me, the mother I found in service. She called me daughter, and she proved it. When she recommended me for a National award, obstacles rose like walls. Others doubted. Some resisted. But Mama Solayide stood by it. She fought for me when it would have been easier to step back when crisis rocked. That was her nature: loyal, bold, and convinced of the greatness she saw in people, even when the world wasn’t ready to see it yet. She led CMSN not just with minutes and meetings, but with a mother’s covering and a general’s courage. She taught me that true leadership serves, protects, gives and believes even under pressure. Christ Morning Star of Nigeria has lost a pillar. I have lost my mother in the faith and in service. But heaven has gained a woman who ran her race, kept the faith, and finished very strong. Mrs Olawole was really wonderful, the way she loved the Nursing profession and will gladly do anything for the love of her darling profession and STAR association in church. She loved being saluted as STAR and she will gladly reply keep shining. She was my very first link at Yabatech when I applied to the Medical Centre as a Staff Nurse. She attended every occasion even when she retired as long as she was informed and chanced. She loved to dance😀 and she was really a good dancer. Frankly, I do not know where to start from because I never got to meet mummy in person. But one thing is for sure, I met her reflection. A mother is called Blessed, when everyone can see and tell of how she gave life and moulded the most amazing being from nothing to Light. You live on mummy and your legacies remain. Snr. Juliana (Asoore) Olawale reconnected with me during my time as one of the members of SLOOGA CTC, she being her 72 Set Class Rep. This interaction was so graceful and cordial. She stood up to the task of coordinating the selection of her Set’s House of Delegates members and rendered all the supports needed at the time. She was respectful in all her dealings with me, tried her best getting the best selected for her Set not minding her state of health. What manner of deep commitment and dedication! She was an open book! How else can I describe this gift to humanity! Hearing of her death was a shock and would be a shock to many of us. My heart goes out to her family in condolence, may God comfort her children and other members of her family. To us remaining, this beautiful soul is a lesson to All of us, what we can do while we are here to affect humanity positively we should not tarry on doing them. Aunty- Snr.
