Refunds.
We have tried to price things fairly and explain them clearly before you pay. If you change your mind, or if something went wrong on our end, the rules below say what we can and can't do.
01Our promise
If we charged you for something the product did not deliver, write to us and we will refund you in full. No form, no fight, no long email chain.
02Tribute plans
Our tribute plans are one-time payments · you pay once and the tribute stays online. We offer a full refund within fourteen days of purchase, for any reason, as long as the tribute has not been listed on Explore, shared on a social network, or visited by more than ten unique people. After that we can still refund in clear cases of error on our side. We don’t run monthly or annual subscriptions, so there’s nothing to pro-rate or auto-renew.
03Family support donations
Donations on family-support campaigns route directly to the family’s Paystack subaccount at the moment of charge. Paystack then settles the funds to the family’s bank on their normal cadence (usually the next working day).
If you want to cancel a donation, write to us within forty-eight hours of paying. While the funds are still in Paystack’s settlement window we can reverse the charge. Once the money has reached the family’s bank we can no longer pull it back · you would need to reach out to the family directly.
04What we can't refund
Paystack charges a processing fee on every payment (1.5% of the charge plus a flat ₦100 above ₦2,500, capped at ₦2,000), plus a transfer fee when funds settle to a bank. Those fees are not refundable to us, and we pass them on honestly · so the refund you receive may be a small percentage less than what you paid. We will say so in the refund confirmation email and show the breakdown. We will never invoice you for the difference if those fees exceed what we kept of the original payment.
05How to ask
Email support@celebratethem.com with the email address you used to pay and the date of the charge. That is all we need.
06How long it takes
We reply within two working days. The refund itself takes three to ten working days to show up in your bank account, depending on your bank and the payment method. We will tell you as soon as we have sent it.
07Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge through your bank instead of writing to us, Paystack will pull the funds back from our account while the dispute is being handled, and we will pause the tribute or campaign the charge relates to. For donations that have already settled to a family’s bank, we may not be able to recover those funds, and the dispute will sit between you, your bank, and Paystack. Writing to us first is almost always faster.
