Their story
Philip Idawari MAJORS was born on the 10th day of May 1957 to the family of Pa and Mrs Majors in Akassa, Bayelsa State. He attended Primary school and completed his First School leaving Certificate in 1975 and went further to complete his secondary education at Eko Boys High School, Lagos in 1980.
Upon completion of the West African Secondary School Certificate (WASC), he joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited as a Clerical Officer in 1980 and rose through the ranks until he retired in 2006 as a Systems and Server Maintenance Officer.
He attended a lot of refresher and in-service training during his career including at the Data Processing Maintenance and Services Limited (DPMS) in Lagos where he obtained a Certificate in Computer Operations in 1984 and the University of Lagos where he received a Diploma in Computer Science in 1997.
He met and married his wife, Grace Majors in 1990 and their union is blessed with a daughter. Until his departure, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved to encourage others to grow and be their best, explore with nature (planting and rearing), enjoyed listening to music, and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, siblings, and godly seeds.
