Their story
Ademola Olumide Adeyemi was born on September 8, 1968, in Lagos, to Father, late Emmanuel Olajide Adeyemi and Mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Olabisi Osinaike. He was also raised by his beloved grandmother; Mama Oloye, who greatly influenced his early life.
FAITH & MINISTRY
Ademola’s love for God began early. He sang in the choir as a child and later became a youth usher at Foursquare Gospel Church, Akowonjo. In 1997, he married Abosede Bamidele, their union was blessed with two daughters, Anjolaoluwa and Moyefolaoluwa, who continue to honor his legacy.
In 2015, he was ordained a Deacon in the Foursquare Gospel Church. He served faithfully at the Solution Cathedral, Ikotun, for over 17 years. As building committee chairman, he oversaw the church's development and helped pioneer several branches across Alake District. He was a gifted teacher of the Word, a joyful worshipper, and a peacemaker who deeply loved God’s people.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
He attended Tunwase Nursery and Primary School in Ikeja and Luba Comprehensive School in Ijebu Ode. He earned both his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma from Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, and later completed his NYSC in 1992. In 1998, he obtained an MBA in General Management from Delta State University.
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Ademola began his professional career with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture before moving into the banking sector, where he served with distinction for over two decades. He held several leadership roles at Wema Bank and Oceanic Bank (now Ecobank), including as Branch Manager, Inspection Team Leader, Chief Inspector in Ghana, and Regional Controller for both Northern and South-South/South-East operations.

October 1992 – August 1997: Held various positions, gaining extensive experience across banking operations.
September 1997 – May 1998: Acting Branch Manager, Oke-Arin Branch, Lagos.
June 1998 – August 2000: Branch Manager, Lapal House Branch, Obalende, Lagos.
Oceanic Bank International Plc (Now Ecobank Nigeria)
September 2000 – May 2001: Relationship Marketing Officer / Head, Corporate Branch, Lagos.
June 2001 – January 2004: Branch Manager, Ilupeju Branch, Lagos.
February 2004 – December 2006: Inspection Team Leader.
January 2006 – March 2007: Chief Inspector / Head of Control, Amalgamated Bank of Ghana (now Bank of Africa), Accra, Ghana – a fully owned subsidiary of Oceanic Bank.
April 2007 – December 2010: Regional Controller, Abuja and Northern Operations.
January 2010 – 2014: Regional Controller, South South / South East Region (SS/SE), based in Port Harcourt.
He was a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and a Member of the Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD).
BUSINESS IMPACT
After retiring from banking, he founded Midez Royal Ventures, a business involved in trucking, granite supply, fish farming, and consultancy. Through his business and ministry, he supported many families and created opportunities for others.
FINAL DAYS
In his later years, Ademola returned to his passion for agriculture, mentoring, and speaking. He remained devoted to God until his final days.
Deacon Ademola Olumide was a man of deep faith, integrity, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to God, family, work, and his calling. He leaves behind a legacy of leadership, love, and service that continues to bless many lives.
